Taming Sari (Revolving Tower) Opening
The Revolving tower
is located at Bandar Hilir, beside Dataran Pahlawan Megamall. This 110m
high revolving tower was built using Swiss technology at a total cost of
RM23mil. It is the first of its kind in the country with a revolving
observation cabin, which provides a breathtaking 360-degree view of the
entire historical areas in Melaka city. The air-conditioned revolving
viewing cabin is equipped with 80 seats. It revolves as it rises from
ground level to the top of the tower. Each viewing session would last 7
minutes. Fares for locals are RM 10 for adult and RM 5 for children,
foreigner adults are RM 20 and children are RM 10.

Apr 8 : Parkson Opening at Melaka Mall
Melaka Mall located opposite Jusco Melaka, which is reconstructed from
Kotamas, will have a new anchor tenant - Parkson. This is the second
Parkson store in Melaka, the first is at Mahkota Parade. Another
tenant, Cold Storage : well-known for their imported fresh groceries and
food items are offering locals many choices for their daily grocery
shopping. MBO Cineplex is also operating there since last June
marking the presence of second modernized cineplex in
Melaka.

20-22 Jul : Melaka Month and Heritage Night
Experience the Melaka heritage by witnessing the many unique
architecture of the Melaka olden buildings. You also get to witness
other states intriquely design wooden buildings and Asean
architecture.
